Prayer Request

I just got a call that my nephew whom was helping to restore power in N.C. due to the ice storms was hit by a car and is in bad shape...All I know right now is his leg is broken in 8 places and he supposedly has swelling of the brain...He is a former Blue Devil Football player...I'll post more when they call and let me know...Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Just got a call from his wife...They flew him to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center...He has a skull fracture,neck fracture,light bleeding on the brain, and his leg is broken in 8 places...They said he should be ok just that it will take along time and that he will be really sore for awhile...He is very lucky if you ask me...Thanks to all whom sent prayers up for him.

I thought that I would ease your mind a little Tob. Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, or just "Baptist" as we call it around here in Winston Salem is a wonderful hospital. No better place that I would rather be if I was in bad shape. My dad was there a few years back to have some type of rare open heart surgury. Anyway, they are great there and if nothing else, you can be assured that he is in the best of hands.

My nephew had his life-saving surgery at Baptist immediately after his birth (he was born at Alamance County Hospital).
I have to agree it's a quality hospital, with great staff. My sister and her family spent many weeks there and they have only good things to say about it.
